UGREEN Guidebook: Empowering Youth for Sustainable Action

We are pleased to present the UGREEN Guidebook, developed within the Erasmus+ project “Promoting Youth Green Initiatives for Sustainable Societies”. The publication was created to support young people, youth workers, educators, community leaders and green entrepreneurs in turning green ideas into practical local actions.

The guidebook serves as a practical and inspiring learning resource. It introduces key sustainability topics such as climate action, renewable energy, sustainable communities, green mobility, water protection, land management and youth empowerment.

Each chapter includes accessible explanations, real examples, good practices, practical tools and links to relevant European and international frameworks. This makes the guidebook useful for workshops, youth activities, educational programmes and community initiatives.

A key focus of the publication is youth-led action. Young people are encouraged to identify environmental challenges in their communities, cooperate with others and develop small but meaningful initiatives, such as recycling campaigns, green audits, eco-space improvements or sustainability awareness activities.

The UGREEN Guidebook is an important project result that supports green competences, youth participation and sustainable thinking. It shows that young people can play an active role in building greener, more resilient and more sustainable societies.

We invite you to read the UGREEN Guidebook, which is available in English, Polish, Italian and Turkish, here:
